The Aragonese Civil Traffic Guard arrested a repeat offender, alleged perpetrator of seven road safety offencesafter conducting an investigation since the end of May after his escape. He is a 34-year-old man with numerous criminal records.
The events date back to the aforementioned date when a patrol of the Traffic Group, which was in the vicinity of the town of Perdiguera in Zaragoza, I tried to stop a driver to notify you of a security breach.
The prisoner fled at high speed and entered the town of Perdiguera. During his escape, he reached endanger the physical integrity of two pedestrians, yours and that of the occupants of a vehicle of the medical health service which was circulating in the said area.
Thanks to the investigation carried out by GIAT specialists during these months, it was possible to obtain the identity of the alleged perpetrator of the events. This is a 34-year-old man with numerous criminal records. He was also involved in other crimes committed previously, and his whereabouts were not possible as his whereabouts had not been known since May.
A police operation set up on September 16th managed to arrest the suspect as he was moving near the PTR industrial zone. At the time of his arrest, he was carrying two personal identification documents that did not belong to him. These were allegedly used to hide his true identity in case he was identified by law enforcement officers.
The prisoner had not had a driving license since 2020 for total loss of legally awarded points. This individual was accused of a total of seven road safety offences, two of which were committed in May, while he was fleeing in Perdiguera. The other five were committed before May and detected during the investigation.
