Russian President Vladimir Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov announced a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Sberbank head German Gref, which is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24. RIA Novosti reports.
The head of state has other meetings scheduled for today, which are not public.
“There are no major international events today either. First of all, Gref, the head of Sberbank, will be meeting him today. This is a systemically important financial institution. Of course, apart from purely financial activities, the bank deals with many more issues related to high technology and other investments, so it is the most important company. Putin regularly receives reports from Gref on how things are going. And today is one of those meetings.” — Peskov clarified.
The presidential administration representative added that Putin regularly receives reports from Gref. “As things stand at Sberbank, this is the most important company”.
