He Popular festival in Madrid continues with the open war against the Minister of Transport, Oscar Puente, for his management of the Surroundings.
After the latest incidents of these weeks and several fruitless meetings between the Community of Madrid and the Spanish Government, the secretary general of the PP of Madrid, Alfonso Serrano, announced that he was going to call a “great mobilization” to protest against the state of the Cercanías.
The citizen demonstration will be called by the Popular Party of Madrid to welcome all the municipalities involved and their respective city councils. At the moment, no date is known, although it has been confirmed that it will be in the capital of Madrid.

At a press conference held after the meeting of the PP Steering Committee in Madrid, Serrano explained that the “permanent and unsustainable” delays force the people to call for this mobilization in the face of a Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility that he “puts out fires” in his department, instead of dealing with the Cercanías.
Serrano directly pointed out Oscar Bridge, as the main manager of this service and asked for “real and immediate solutions”.
“Even if we Madrilenians are not pro-independence and we do not go on strike, we deserve a modern, reliable and safe Cercanías network.
