The collapse of part of the Lluís Vives school, in the Valencian town of Massanasa, left a person who was working on the recovery work on the school center trapped under the rubble. Although it was initially reported that an operator had died due to the accident, the government delegation in Valencia denies this claim.
The Emergency Coordination Center (CECOPI) confirmed the alert of a school collapse. Likewise, they ensure that emergency resources are already on site on the site.
According to information from the communications service of the President of the Valencian Community, Carlos Mazón, the “popular” would travel from Alicante to the city affected by DANA to see for himself what happened.
