The cable car reportedly only started working normally a few years after it was put into service. Later, something went wrong:
“The cable car was built in a picturesque place in the region. When tourists came, they used to observe the surroundings from here. It stopped working years ago due to some damaged details. However, repairing it is not such a difficult task. “
Regarding the problem, the Executive Branch of the Balakan district was informed that the rope is planned to be repaired:
“The rope cables have some corrosion, some parts are depreciated. There was a malfunction in a spare part that required a lot of money. We have included it in the action plan. It will be repaired next year. It was closed until now due to the necessary funds.”
It should be noted that the cable car located on the territory of the Heydar Aliyev cultural and recreational park of the region was put into operation in 2008. The length of the path is 1,200 meters. 216 people per hour can use the six-cabin cable car.
