Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations to buy Russian helicopters

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan will purchase Russian helicopters, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports.

According to the head of the department Chingis ArinovaThe acquisition of three Mi-8 AMT and four Ka-32 is being considered.

He added that the cars will be purchased on a leasing basis with the participation of international companies.

“And it may be a Russian supplier. Helicopters will be purchased in the near future, as the department urgently needs them.” – said the minister.

It was previously reported that during the flood period, Kazakhstan faced an acute shortage of special equipment and transport aircraft.
