Second case of gender-based violence in Andalusia in less than 24 hours. This happened in Algeciras, Cádiz, where the National Police arrested a man for attack his partner and flee with the seven-month-old baby of it.
The first, it must be remembered, occurred this Saturday in Estepa, Seville, at the last minute when a man allegedly killed a hunting rifle his wife, leaving two orphaned minors.
In the case of Algeciras, as in Estepa, there have been no previous complaints of gender violence, as confirmed by the investigation sources. However, the detainee in Cádiz was the subject of two arrests precedent for sexist attacks to previous couples.

Upon arriving at the scene, as the body explained in a note, officers spotted a half-naked woman, visibly agitated and showing signs of violencewho reported being assaulted by her partner. Additionally, she said the attacker took away her seven-month-old baby while she was trying to flee the house.

Immediately, the National Police activated a device to locate this person and guarantee the safety of the minor, who had abandoned house after the attack.
After an “extensive” investigation, officers were able to locate the suspect at a relative’s home, where he was with the baby. Both were in good health. The man was arrested on the spot and will be brought to justice.
