Air defense forces shot down 18 enemy UAVs in four Russian regions overnight – Defense Ministry

The Russian Ministry of Defense has released information about the latest terrorist attacks by the kyiv regime against targets on Russian territory using drones.

The corresponding statement was published on the morning of Friday, August 30, in the official resources of the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the military department.

The report claims that last night the kyiv regime attempted to carry out terrorist attacks using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation.

According to the Ministry of Defence, eighteen Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed by air defence systems on duty. Eleven UAVs were shot down in the Bryansk region, four in the Kaluga region, two UAVs were destroyed in the Republic of Crimea and one in the Belgorod region.

The governor of Kaluga confirmed the information about the attack this morning on his Telegram channel. Vladislav Shapsha.

“This morning, on the outskirts of Kaluga, air defence forces destroyed four unmanned aerial vehicles. Task forces are working at the destruction sites,” he said.
