Biden had his last word to the world

US President Joe Biden spoke at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Oku.Az TASS reports that this was his farewell speech as UN president and probably one of his last speeches on the international stage.

The speech started five minutes late and lasted about 25 minutes. However, the official time limit for such speeches is 15 minutes.

In his speech, Biden mentioned Putin once and Ukraine nine times and declared that the United States will support kyiv until victory. He asked God for help for those working for peace in Gaza.

As for the content, the 46th President of the United States, as expected, focused solely on the achievements of his four-year term. However, he also admitted that this period “was not without tragedies.”

Among other topics, the head of the White House mentioned the climate, the fight against dangerous diseases and the development of artificial intelligence:

“There will be no greater test of our leadership in the years ahead than how we handle artificial intelligence.”
