The president of the Popular Party, Alberto Nuñez Feijóowent this Wednesday afternoon to Letur, in Albacete, to visit the president of Castilla-La Mancha, the socialist Emiliano García-Pageground zero of the municipality in this region most affected by DANA.
In statements to the media, the leader of the PP offered institutional collaboration, political commitment and unity to all administrations in the areas devastated by DANA. “The loyal aid of the PP is guaranteed,” he stressed. After visiting the Letur forward command post with García-Page, Feijóo explained that this visit is a demonstration of unconditional “solidarity and support” towards one of the places devastated by this tragedy.
The president of the PP presented his condolences to the families of the victims and his hope that the missing people will be found safe and sound. “We will move forward. We have always done it in difficult times,” he stressed.
Feijóo also highlighted that this morning he had written, together with PP deputies, letters to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Layen, and to the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, who pledged to help our country with European funds. to mitigate damage and rebuild affected areas.
