Brazilian authorities announced a reduction from 23 to 17 in the number of deaths due to a bus accident in the state of Alagoas, in the northeast of the country. This was reported by the G1 news portal on November 24.
“The state government confirmed that 23 people had died, but later adjusted the figure to 17.” – says the portal publication.
It is stated that 29 passengers suffered injuries of varying severity and were transferred to a regional hospital. The bus was heading to the Quilombo dos Palmares memorial park.
