Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tayani within the framework of the high-level week of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
Oku.Az reports that this was shared on the “X” page of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It was reported that the meeting discussed the prospects of strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy in the political, economic, trade, energy and security fields.
The parties also exchanged views on possible areas of cooperation within the framework of Azerbaijan’s presidency of COP29 and restoration work in the territories liberated from occupation.
