The Russian regional court in Perm has recognized the public association “Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR” as an extremist organization and banned its activities in the country.
Oku.Az TASS reports that this was announced by the court’s press service.
“The demands were met, the organisation operating under this name was recognised as extremist and its activities on the territory of Russia were banned,” the court said.
It should be noted that the Perm Region Prosecutor’s Office filed a complaint with the regional court in the summer of 2024.
