“Azerbaijan has further strengthened its position as a leading state in the region thanks to the well-thought-out reforms implemented successively.”
This was stated by the Speaker of Parliament, Sahiba Gafarova, in the plenary session of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.
The president said that this year development is observed in the main sectors of the economy: “Our country is implementing large projects related to the transition to a green economy. The restoration of the liberated territories and reintegration into the country’s economy occupy the main places in “Great importance is attached to our national agenda. “Our compatriots who were forcibly displaced return to their countries of origin, salaries and pensions are increased.”
Sahiba Gafarova noted that both income and expenditure of the state budget for next year are at a record level:
“The priorities of the state budget for 2025 will be related to further increasing the potential of the Armed Forces and the implementation of the Great Return. The draft state budget for 2025 and the documents included in the budget package were widely discussed at the meetings of parliament committees.”
