Iranian and Azerbaijani special forces have begun a four-day joint military exercise in Iran’s Ardabil province.

According to information, the training is carried out in the Aslantapa district with the participation of the ground forces of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and special units of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces.
The objective of the exercise was to strengthen relations between the two countries, fight illegal armed groups, increase border security and develop military skills.
