“There are no Azerbaijani citizens among those killed and injured in the floods that occurred in the Spanish city of Valencia.”
This was stated by Aykhan Hajizadeh, head of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in response to Trend’s question.
He also noted that the Azerbaijani Embassy in Spain has not received any appeal from the citizens of our country regarding evacuation.
It should be noted that at least 70 people lost their lives as a result of the floods in Valencia, Spain.
It should be remembered that previously the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan expressed its condolences to the Spanish side for the deaths of people in the floods that occurred in this country.
