Baku TV launched a new project related to COP29

“We worked with the Japanese company TEPSCO in Karabakh and in eastern Zangezur. During the research, they found out that there are green cities and green towns and villages in the world. But this is the first time they have dealt with a green area of this magnitude. This is an area the size of Lebanon.”

Elnur Soltanov, Deputy Minister of Energy and Executive Director of COP29, said these things in an interview with Baku TV’s new media project “COP-BAKU”.

He also announced which proposals Azerbaijan will discuss at COP29.

The program also broadcast unique footage of the largest solar power plant in the Caspian region, the Garadagh solar power station. Murad Sadigov, director of the company Masdar Azerbaijan, which built the station and currently manages it, spoke about the construction of three more large stations and in which areas they will be located.

The media project “COP-BAKU” will highlight for the first time in Azerbaijan the work carried out in the field of green energy and future goals in this direction.

It is worth noting that the media project will be broadcast in English and Russian to draw the attention of the world community to the work done by Azerbaijan in relation to green energy.
