THE Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN), dependent on the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, warned against presence of mustard not provided for in the labeling of a batch of cookies “Delizias” with turmeric and chia, of the BIO DARMA brand, initially distributed in the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, the Valencian Community and Madrid.
The alert was known thanks to the Coordinated System for Rapid Exchange of Information (SCIRI), from an alert notification sent by the health authorities of the Valencian Community. The lot concerned corresponds to the number ‘D66504240 with an expiry date of April 5, 2025.
As a precautionary measure, It is recommended for people allergic to mustard, that they could have at home the product that refrain from consuming it.
