Renfe has reorganized the alternative transportation plan for C2 Cercanías line services in the center of Valencia, from Wednesday November 27. The recovery of the infrastructure between Alzira-Xàtiva and Moixent makes it possible to expand the railway section of the line. The service will therefore be provided by bus between Valencia Joaquín Sorolla and Alzira, and by train between Alzira and Moixent.
Adif continues to work on the recovery and reconstruction of all infrastructure damaged by DANA in order to restore all rail services on C1, C2 and C3 as quickly as possible, according to Renfe in a press release.
On the other hand, in the Line C3Valencia-Buñol-Utiel, the departure and arrival point of the buses that until now were established in the Plaza de España has been modified, since it now takes place at the Valencia Joaquín Sorolla station. The service is offered by road from Utiel-Requena to Valencia and with intermediate stops. Buses do not stop in the town of Cheste due to the complicated situation.
In the line C1a train leaves every half hour from Gandia station to Silla. A direct bus service is established between Silla and Valencia with a base frequency of 10 minutes on weekdays, which will be increased depending on existing demand. Valencia buses will start and end their journey at València Joaquín Sorolla station.
In the line C2Valencia-Xàtiva-Moixent, a train is scheduled every half hour between the Xàtiva and Alzira stations, where users will transfer to a bus to continue their journey to the Valencian capital. Passengers traveling to or from Moixent will have a train from Moixent to Alzira every hour, from where they will transfer to a bus to Valencia.
Buses in Valencia will have their origin and destination at the Joaquín Sorolla station. 4 bus lines are scheduled: 3 direct bus lines between Valencia and Alzira, Algemesí and Benifaió, with frequencies between 15 and 30 minutes during the week, and a bus line with intermediate stops to Silla.
