Putin awarded Lukashenko Russia’s highest award

Russian President Vladimir Putin has awarded Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko the highest award of the Russian Federation – the Order of the Holy Apostle Andrei Pervozvanny.

It should be noted that Alexander Lukashenko turned 70 on August 30.

Putin presented the award for his outstanding services in developing the alliance and strategic partnership between Russia and Belarus, in strengthening friendly relations between the peoples of the two brotherly countries, as well as for his personal contribution to the creation and effective functioning of the union state.
