Star of the TV series “Soldiers” Roman Madyanov has died

Honored Artist of Russia Roman Madyanov has died at the age of 63, TV presenter Ekaterina Strizhenova announced on her Telegram channel.

“It is always warm and pleasant to be around you. And what a lovely artist you are, I always noticed your talent, and you were embarrassed and blushed… The love for you is national. How difficult it is to accept this news.” – says the message.

Roman Madyanov was born on July 22, 1962 in the city of Dedovsk, Moscow region. After graduating from GITIS, he was accepted into the Moscow Theatre named after Vladimir Mayakovsky.

The artist’s film debut took place at the age of 11, he played Huckleberry Finn in the film “Completely Lost”. Since 1989, Madyanov has been constantly acting in films. He has worked on more than 200 projects, including feature films and TV series. In 2024 alone, about 10 films and TV series with Madyanov’s participation will be released, including the twelfth season of Sklifosovsky, Correction and Punishment 2, Doll, The Battle of the Popes and other films.

Madyanov is a four-time Nika Award winner for Best Supporting Actor, a two-time Golden Eagle Award winner: for Best Actor (film “12”) and Best Supporting Actor (film “Leviathan”).
