Two strangers left an envelope with an amount of 4,100 euros in 20 and 50 euro notes to a homeless person at the door of the administration of the lottery “La Tribuna”, located at number 4 between Cisneros and Fernán González streets, in the capital Malaga.
Inside the envelope, in addition to the money, there was a small piece of paper with a biblical text written in blue pen and a postcard with a painting of a virgin. This was confirmed by Agustín Giménez, husband of the owner of the lottery administration, who said that all this happened last Friday.
According to what he said, around 5 p.m., when they were about to open the shop, they discovered that there was a homeless man at the doorwho felt bad. He seemed drunk. In this context, he said that an acquaintance had come to tell him that some strangers had left an envelope in which “apparently” there was money.
He told them to go and take care of the man and delivered the sealed envelope to the local police. The homeless man is an elderly foreigner who frequents the neighborhood and has a drinking problem. According to ‘Diario Sur’, “this is not at all controversial.”
