Belarusians living or staying in Lebanon are advised to leave the country. This was announced today, September 25, at the Belarusian Embassy in Syria.
“If it is impossible to use existing air services, we recommend moving to safer territories, in particular for citizens located in the southern regions of the Lebanese Republic.” – says the message.
The diplomatic mission also recalled that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic had previously recommended that due to the worsening situation in the Middle East, Belarusian citizens should refrain from travelling to Israel and Lebanon. In addition, the embassy called on Belarusian citizens to follow the recommendations of local authorities and, if necessary, contact the mission in Damascus.
Recall that earlier in Lebanon there was a series of explosions of electronic devices that killed about 5 thousand people. In addition, the Israel Defense Forces launched a large-scale military operation against the Lebanese movement Hezbollah. In particular, massive airstrikes and shelling of targets in Lebanon were carried out.
