The head of the regional government, Emiliano García-Pagebrought forward the inauguration this Wednesday, in Ciudad Real, of a new comprehensive care center for victims of sexual assault in Castile-La Mancha, the region “most advanced in carrying out all the works” in centers dedicated for this purpose, being the first to deploy a truly autonomous network of this type and which was financed with European funds .
This was highlighted in his speech at the institutional event of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women organized by the Munera Municipal Auditoriumin the province of Albacete, where he was accompanied by the Minister of Equality, Sarah Simonwith whom he delivered five recognitions to as many educational centers for their work in this cause. “The testimony of so many boys and girls working side by side shows that it is a society that has hope” and “the centers are, in many cases, the last hope of a society” to “distinguish what’s right and what’s wrong.” . “ “That’s not true,” he reflected.
