The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, described it as “unacceptable” that Mexico had excluded the presence of Felipe VI during the inauguration of the new president of the Latin American country, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
“Mexico is a brother country and we find it unacceptable that the presence of Felipe VI, who participated in all the inaugurations, is excluded,” Sánchez said from the UN headquarters in New York, before speaking before the General Assembly of the United Nations.
