In December, the head of the General Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov* (including Russia on the list of terrorists and extremists) will try to remove him from office for the second time and a candidate has already been found to replace him, writes New Voice (NV) citing sources.
“In the presidency they want to remove Kirill Budanov* the president of the head of military intelligence, and in his place will appoint “a person more loyal to the authorities”” — writes NV citing a source from the Ukrainian security and defense sector.
The material indicates that the attempt to fire Budanov* can be activated in December. Above all, this process is pressured by the head of the office. Vladimir Zelensky, Andrei Ermak. and vice president of the SBU Alejandro Poklad. They allegedly want to appoint the latter to the position of head of the General Intelligence Directorate, the source added.
