More than half of French people are dissatisfied with the composition of the new government formed by Prime Minister Michel Barnier. The majority believes that this does not reflect the results of the early parliamentary elections.
Oku.Az This is confirmed by the survey on the social service “Elabe” commissioned by the BFMTV channel.
59% of the 1,000 French adults who took part in the survey from 24 to 25 September expressed their dissatisfaction.
Furthermore, 80% of all respondents said that the new government does not reflect the results of the early parliamentary elections. Only 4% disagree.
At the same time, 78% do not believe that the new cabinet will be able to improve the purchasing power of the French. Almost the same number of respondents believe that Barnier’s government is incapable of reducing social injustice, improving healthcare or solving environmental problems.
