“In a meeting with senior military officials, I was told that it takes longer to renovate a staircase in the Pentagon now (24 months) than to build the entire Pentagon (16 months) in the 1940s.” — wrote Musk.
Thus, the billionaire commented on the businessman’s words Viveka Ramaswamywho stated that bureaucracy generates large expenses not so much because of the number of employees, but because of legally questionable expenses.
Previously, Musk said that the new US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) aims to “increase the efficiency” of US military spending.
