The passage of a cold front will leave stable weather in the peninsula this Tuesday, although with dark skies in the northeast and some scattered precipitation in the west and north, without expecting large accumulations or excluding a few showers in the afternoon in the southeast mountains and Girona.
In the Canary Islands the sky will be cloudy in the north, with the possibility of occasional showers on the islands with greater relief, and intervals of medium and high clouds in the south, according to forecasts from the National Meteorological Agency ( AEMET).
There will be a probability of morning fog in areas of the plateaus, western Andalusia and depressions of the northeast of the peninsula, as well as mist in the eastern Canary Islands, Balearic Islands and in the east of the peninsula.
Thermal drops will predominate in the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, except in the northwest and the Canary Islands, where no changes are expected, while drops in maximum temperatures will be notable in the east of the peninsula, one day light frosts in the Pyrenees, although it is not expected to be released to other mountains in the northern half.
Light winds will blow from the west on the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, they will be moderate from the southwest on the northwest coasts, there will be a gale on the Ebro and a northerly wind on the Ampurdán, and throughout the day it will be expected that the eastern component will tend to establish itself in the Mediterranean area while in the Canary Islands weak trade winds are expected.

– GALICIA: probable cloudy skies, mists and light rain or drizzle, occasional and scattered, are expected on the coast south of Finisterre, which will be more frequent in the afternoon, although they are not excluded in the rest of the Community.

– BASQUE COUNTRY: Overcast skies are expected, which will tend to become slightly cloudy during the night.
Minimum temperatures will not change or will decrease slightly, while maximum temperatures will decrease. Winds will be light from the south.
– CASTILLA Y LEÓN: dense morning mists and skies with cloudy intervals with a predominance of medium cloudiness are expected, which will tend to dissipate from west to east in the afternoon, a day when a few scattered showers are not not excluded in the northwest and in which the snow level exceeds 1,700 meters.
