Today the Plenary Assembly of the Consell approved the first direct aid from the Valencian Government aimed specifically at companies affected by DANA. This is a call with a total amount of 100 million euroswhose companies They will be able to receive a maximum of 30,000 euros.
As explained by the first vice-president, Susana Camarero, the approved decree provides direct aid to maintain employment in companies affected by the floods in the province of Valencia. The call plans to allocate 5,000 euros to each company, in addition to an additional 1,000 euros per worker includedwithin the limit of 30,000 euros per signature.
Of course, companies will have to commit to maintain activity and employment until June 2025as Camarero explained after the first Council of the new Valencian government after the restructuring decided by Carlos Mazón after the disaster.
As detailed, the help is articulated in two lots of 50 million each, one for industrial companies and another for commercial, service and tourism companies. As a prerequisite, they will have to submit the request for compensation for damages to the Compensation Consortium.

The application period will open on November 28 and will remain until December 31. The granting of funds will be done in the order of demand, according to the Generalitat, although Camarero stressed that the funds could be expanded.

Camarero explained that they are also working on a new aid program for self-employed workers, which They would be added to the 400 million in aid that the Generalitat has already committed for those affected. Thus, in the first package of measures, 200 million euros for those affected for losses and damages suffered, in addition to 50 million euros for the municipalities concerned.
