TaPalma Mallorca-2024tapas and cocktail competition and course, already has winners. The winner of this edition was the Morralla restaurant with chef Kike Erazo at the helm.who wins the title of TaPalma de Oro 2024 with his creation Coca-roba.

The event, organized by AgenciaCom and Restauración Mallorca Caeb, and which benefits from the official sponsorship of Trasmed, and institutional sponsors such as Palma City Hall, Passion for Palma and the Mallorca Tourism Foundation, aims to energize the city for a few days thanks to the catering sector and position Majorca, and more particularly its capital, as the nerve center of Spanish gastronomy.

In Tapa TaPalma mode, The silver winner was the La Consentida restaurant with chef Óscar Fontánwhich he presented to the jury Crispy marrow cannelloni with diced garlic shrimp and truffle allioli. And finally, bronze went to Ombu with chef Carlos Frau, who presented the cover Majorcan mist.

In the category of Sobrassada Tapa from Mallorca IGPthe restaurant White baitwith chef Kike Erazo, also won gold thanks to The jewel of Mallorca. Silver in this category went to chef David Raya’s Zaituna restaurant, with The black pearl and thirdly, the bronze was awarded to the restaurant La Consentida and the chef Óscar Fontán for their creation Bombeta sobrassada with spinach and seafood cream.

As for the cocktail competition, the winner of the Golden Cocktail was El Bandarra for your cocktail Frambolic by bartender Michele Marcon. The money fell to Ombu, thanks to the creation Toma-tiga by William Mensitiéri. The bronze went to Assaona from the hands of bartender Paula Blasco, thanks to Sa Valley.

Two second prizes were also awarded, one for the tapa best associated with San Miguel, which was awarded to the Ombu restaurant with the creation Majorcan bomb. And as for the second prize for the best cocktail made with Antoni Nadal Destil·leries products, it went to Quentin’s Saloon for its cocktail Your vuo fa the majorcan.

The tapas jury of the TaPalma Mallorca-2024 Competition is made up of a permanent jury chaired by Igor Rodríguez, president of the tapas jury and chef of the El Bandarra restaurant; Mariano Mier, Gijón de Pinchos 2024 R&D prize and chef of the El Quinto restaurant in Gijón; Ana Mediavilla, president of the National Pinchos and Tapas Competition of the City of Valladolid; Goyo González, presenter of the National Contest of Pinchos and Tapas City of Valladolid, and Nuria Casas, actress and content creator. At Tapa TaPalma, they were accompanied by Claudio Lemos, chef of the Selvatge restaurant; Koldo Royo, president of ASCAIB, chef and advisor, and Miquel Calent, chef of the Can Calent restaurant, Hôtel Cuit de Nakar and presenter of IB3 TV; and in Tapa Sobrassada de Mallorca IGP from Antonia Mª Torres, director of the Tasting Jury of IGP Sobrassada de Mallorca; José Cortés, chef and member of ASCAIB, and Rodrigo Vallejo, private chef.

In the cocktail jury, Juan Antonio García, president of the TaPalma cocktail jury and president of the Bartenders Association of the Balearic Islands, formed a jury with Sonia Pou, public relations of the ABIB; Pedro Marín, brand ambassador for Antonio Nadal Destil·leries; Kike Bayano, Coca-Cola brand ambassador and manager of On The Rocks; Laura Pelarda, bar manager at the Hotel Glòria de Sant Jaume, and Miquel Calent, chef at the Can Calent restaurant, Hotel Cuit de Nakar and presenter of IB3 TV.

All tapas and cocktails participating in TaPalma Mallorca-2024 can be enjoyed at route which begins this Wednesday, November 27 until Sunday, December 1 in which a total of 31 establishments participate.
