Mahmoud Alavi, former Minister of Intelligence (ETTELAAT) of Iran, has admitted many failures of Tehran in the field of intelligence against Israel.
This was reported by the Azad Iran Telegram channel, citing Iranian media.
He reportedly referred to the assassination of Iran’s nuclear and missile systems scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh and said the government still cannot identify the perpetrators of this conspiracy, nor how the assassination was carried out.
According to Alavi, one of the main points is Israel’s theft of Iran’s nuclear documents. The former minister claimed that Iran first denied this issue, and then former SEPAH commander Mohsen Rezayi announced that the documents had been stolen.
He noted that these cases show how strong Israel’s sphere of influence is in Iran.
