“Muface’s explanations are insufficient”

THE Independent trade union center and leaders (CSIF), the most representative union of public administrations, ensures that the explanations of General mutuality of civil agents of the State (Muface) about the Removal of Adeslas this Monday, health care “is insufficient”. The insurer sent an email to mutual members to inform them that it will not participate in the new health agreement for the period 2025-2027, and to announce that health care will end soon. January 31.

Faced with this situation, Muface assured that “there will be a new call for tenders» and assures mutual members of the maintenance of their health care. However, officials’ representatives do not consider these statements to bring peace of mind to those affected.

“This explanation is insufficient,” they denounce. “They are playing with the peace and health of our mutual insurance companies. We don’t know what will actually happen after January 31. We have no guarantee nor the certainty that this care will be maintained because appointments are already canceled, authorizations for tests and treatments, examinations and medical visits are refused,” they deplore.

The civil servants’ union “reported these situations to Muface and we will study all the responsibilities that arise from this lack of attention.” “In the meantime, we are already organizing the bus charter coming from all the provinces for superb demonstration which will take place on December 14 in Madrid”, they warn.

The CSIF called for what it calls a “great mobilization” for December 14 to demand a solution to the problem of concert by Muface. The demonstration will take place in front of the General Management.

Problems of Civil Servants by Muface

During a breakfast organized by Nueva Economía Fórum, the president of the CSIF, Miguel Borrahas warned that the new Muface tender could be postponed until January or even beyond, depending on the results of the public consultation recently launched by the government.

During the first call for tenders, the government proposed an increase in premiums of 17.12% for the years 2025 and 2026, a proposal which was rejected by the current insurers of the service —Adèslas, Asisa And DKV— because it is considered insufficient economically.

Given this scenario, the Sánchez Executive It is now seeking to assess market conditions to design a new attractive offer for businesses, but without clear results for the moment.
