The President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, camouflaged himself in an aid decree DANA a measure to remove the salary cap for senior civil servants in his government. As part of the aid program, a law on the mobility of civil servants was included allowing “the people who make up the Consell and the higher bodies of the departments” to earn more than the president.
This change would modify the regulations still in force which make it possible to maintain the salaries of senior civil servants.
