The socialist vice-spokesman in Toledo, Pablo Garciaaccused the government team of extending the orange zone of the ORA to new neighborhoods like Avenida de Europa. “The remaining treasury of Toledo City Hall is practically empty, reduced to nothing after having squandered almost 20 million euros,” he denounced, stressing that this is one of the clearest examples “of this policy of citizen pillage”.

For Pablo Garciathis measure is a direct attack on family economies: “Velázquez uses ORA as another tool to get the most out of Toledo’s neighbors. “More affected neighborhoods, more money for their bottomless coffers, and less relief for citizens.”

During the recent Participation Council, according to García, “the lack of transparency and the lack of desire for dialogue of the City of Toledo was evident, by not informing the residents of the expansion of the ORA on Avenida of Europa”.
