The house arrest of the famous singer Serdar Ortaç, one of the 16 suspects detained in the framework of the investigation for alleged promotion of illegal gambling in Türkiye, has been canceled.

According to the information, the singer’s lawyer presented an appeal to lift judicial control in the form of house arrest. The court that assessed the appeal annulled Ortaç’s house arrest.
It should be noted that the trial against the artist will begin on December 24 at the 25th Criminal Court in Istanbul.
