Media outlets released videos showing the aftermath of a powerful IDF strike against targets of the terrorist group Hezbollah in Lebanon.
This was reported by the Alexey Zheleznov Telegram channel.
As a result of the attack carried out by the Israeli Air Force in the area of the village of Brital, in the Baalbek region, two people were killed and several others were injured.
Also today, the IDF reported that it carried out a second attack in recent days against targets of the terrorist group Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
According to an army spokesman, aircraft operating under the direction of the Northern Command attacked weapons depots, including anti-tank missiles, as well as military buildings and observation posts in the area of the city of Tyre.
Also among the targets was the Aziz Unit, a Hezbollah unit responsible for bombing Israel from southwestern Lebanon.
Tire remains a major center of Hezbollah terrorist activity, serving as a base to launch attacks against Israel and IDF forces.
Kursor previously reported that Israel’s retaliatory strike sent a strong signal to Iran about the IDF’s capabilities.
Israel carried out the largest operation against Iranian military targets in recent years, significantly escalating the conflict between the countries. As part of a mission called “Days of Repentance,” Israeli aircraft carried out strikes against 20 strategic targets in Iran, using more than a hundred aircraft, including fighters and reconnaissance teams. The commander-in-chief of the Israel Defense Forces noted that the attack was a clear signal to Iran that Israel is ready to respond to any threat.
According to Ram Ben-Barak, former deputy director of the Mossad, the operation demonstrated the technological superiority of the Israeli air force. Israeli aircraft, although undetected, managed to evade air defense systems and hit key targets, including missile and drone factories. In addition, the attacks affected elements of the Iranian SA-300 air defense system and bases in the areas of Tehran and Parchin, where, according to Israeli intelligence, work related to nuclear technology could be carried out.
Iranian officials said there was “minimal damage,” but independent experts and satellite images showed extensive damage to military infrastructure. At the same time, the Israeli side emphasized that the attacks were aimed exclusively at military targets to avoid civilian casualties.
The operation was carried out in close coordination with the United States. American F-35 fighters provided protection against possible Iranian retaliation, significantly increasing the effectiveness of the mission. However, attacks on Iran’s nuclear or energy facilities were excluded from the plan, as Washington fears destabilization in the region.
