An explosion occurred at a steel plant in the city of Goshachay (Miyandoab), in the Iranian province of West Azerbaijan.
This was reported by the Telegram channel Azad Iran.
Regarding the incident, Saman Mohammadi, head of the Fire and Safety Services Department of Goshachay City Municipality, said that one person was seriously injured and was taken to hospital as a result of the explosion of the plant’s furnace.
The causes of the explosion are currently under investigation.
