Pamplona Municipal Police acquires five electric vehicles to renew its fleet

The Local Government Council approved the allocation of two contracts that will provide the Pamplona municipal police policy of five new electric vehicles. The first will provide the police with two compact electric vehicles and two light vans, for a total cost of 148,689.06 euros.

The second contract acquires an electric vehicle for the Municipal Police Headquarters for an amount of 72,479 euros. The sum of the two contracts amounts to 221,168.06 euros. One of the lots of the first contract, the objective of which was to acquire a long van type vehicle intended to cover the mobility needs of the sustainable development team, was canceled.

With the acquisition of these 5 vehicles, 100% electric, it is intended to cover the mobility needs of the Pamplona Municipal Police in accordance with the projection of the company’s public image in accordance with the strategy of sustainable mobility, respect for the environment and compliance with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda assumed and promoted by the Pamplona City Council.

The two vehicles 100% electric compact touring typeare intended to meet the mobility needs of the mobility brigade. The successful bidder was the company AZ Motor SA.

For their part, the two light vans, also 100% electric, aim to cover the mobility needs of the road safety brigade. They will be supplied by Automóviles Torregrosa SL.

In addition, the Government Council approved the procurement file for the acquisition of an electric vehicle for the Municipal Police Prefecture and its allocation to Comercial Gazpi SA.
