Within the framework of the 29th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Agreement on Climate Change (COP29), a total of 826 people requested medical services from institutions dependent on the Management Union of Territorial Medical Units (TABAB).

It was reported that the number of people who applied to the medical centers was 199 and those who applied to the emergency teams were 492. 107 people received outpatient treatment and 28 received inpatient treatment. The foreign citizen was successfully operated on at the “Yeni Clinic” (bridectomy, appendectomy, abscess drainage) and was discharged for outpatient treatment in sufficient condition.
People in need of specialized medical services were examined and treated at “Yeni Clinic”, Sabunchu Medical Center, Clinical Medical Center and Neftchilar Central Hospital.
Applications were registered from foreign citizens from a total of 87 countries on the continents of Asia, Africa, Europe, America and Australia.
The appeals consisted mainly of trauma of various degrees of severity, hypertension, gastroenterological pathologies, neurotic and emotional reactions, alcoholic reactions of various organs and systems, respiratory virus infections.
It should be noted that within the framework of the conference, 60 emergency medical teams provided services in the respective areas where the event took place. At the same time, medical posts for the provision of medical services were organized at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Heydar Aliyev Center, the Athletes’ Village, the metro stations “Koroglu”, “May 28”, “Academy of Sciences “, as well as in areas inhabited by guests.
