The United States ambassador to Poland, Mark Brzezinski, has announced that he will resign from his position. His mission will end on January 20, 2025.
Polish media associate the ambassador’s resignation with the arrival of Donald Trump to the White House. Thus, the Polish publication “The Highest Hour” included a mocking headline:
“The winds of change blow from outside. Brzezinski folds the rainbow flag and returns home.”
Brzezinski wrote on Instagram*:
“January 20, 2025 will be my last day as US Ambassador to Poland. I submitted my resignation to the president. Bidento whom I will be eternally grateful for trusting me and entrusting me with this mission.”
