Najib Mikati spoke with US diplomat Amos Hochstein, who is expected to visit Israel on Thursday. The Israeli public television channel Kan also published a plan dated October 26 that foresees that Israeli troops will withdraw from Lebanon within seven days after the entry into force of a ceasefire.
