As part of the strike called by public education unions in Navarre, this Thursday, several hundred teachers blocked traffic in central Pamplona, in Navas de Tolosa street, at the gates of Parliament.
It was a unauthorized traffic stopthat’s why a dozen riot police of the local police, responsible for ensuring the security of the building, carried out close the doors of the parliamentary seat and to be placed next to it.
As it is a street restricted access and by which only neighbors and authorized vehicles circulate, they were only trapped half a dozen villavesasboth in the direction of Yanguas and Miranda, as well as in the direction of Navas de Tolosa, as well as other vehicles coming from the Sarasate traffic area.
The demonstrators, who had already marched towards the Ministry of Education, took out ropes and they started jumping rope in front of the door, imitating being in the playground of the schools where they workto make their demands known.
A significant part of the protesters still occupy Paseo de Sarasate.
After 10 minutes, the the demonstrators left off the road and remained in the Sarasate Promenade.
