The route is very beautiful and it will take you all day to do it if you plan to stop at all the places. 🏡 Where to stay: we stayed in a rural house in Las Casas da Lexa, located in a beautiful village called Vega de Zarza, 3 minutes from Taramundi. The rural houses are very comfortable and fully equipped to make your stay comfortable. The rural house has a private leisure area to spend a few hours and is next to a very beautiful river where you can take a walk. The best part – they allow pets so our dog Rumba came 🐶 🍴Where to eat: We ate at Mesón De As Veigas and Mesón el Mazo in Os Teixois. Other restaurants recommended to us in the area: Los Arándanos, Sidrería Solleiro, Hotel La Rectoral, Casa Paulino 🐶 Pets in Taramundi: You can visit most places with pets, with the exception of the Mill Museum, the La Cuchillería Museum and some workshops. 📝Tips: 1. I recommend first going to the Taramundi tourist office to get their list of places to visit, which also shows the times and whether or not they allow pets. 2. There are few parking spaces in the towns, so if you go in high season, I recommend visiting them on foot along the river road. 3. Outside of high season, many restaurants do not open. 4.
