“I do not admit my guilt,” the defendant said during the review of his appeal to extend his prison sentence before the Military Court of the Second Western District. Pashayev believes that the criminal case against him was opened on the basis of the application submitted by blogger Aleksey Blinovsky, known as the victim.
According to the former lawyer, his innocence is proven by the fact that he spent his personal funds on the needs of the army. “I sold my personal house, my yacht, my car and my son’s house in Rublyovka, and also spent about 80 million rubles (about 1.3 million manat – ed.) of my personal funds on humanitarian aid.
