A Swedish citizen who fought on the side of Ukraine was killed in combat at the end of last week, several sources told the SVT Nyheter television channel.
“A man, an experienced military man, went to Ukraine in 2022” – he said in the publication.

At the same time, the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that it has no data on this case, but confirms that since February 2022, eight Swedish citizens have died in Ukraine. Due to consular secrecy, the Foreign Ministry does not provide any additional information about the deceased and the causes of their death.
