APA reports that Leyla Osman gizi Musayeva, 56, a resident of Bujag village in the Oguz region, committed suicide for fear of losing her husband who was suffering from cancer.
Thus, Leyla Musayeva’s husband, Eyyub Faraj Musayev, 70, has been suffering from blood cancer for several months. Eyyub Musayev was treated for a long time in the central hospital of the Oguz district. He was sent home from the hospital a few days ago due to his serious condition.
On November 26, the medical team of the Oguz district branch of the Republican Center for Urgent and Emergency Medical Assistance went to Eyyub Musayev’s address to examine him. During the examination, Eyyub Musayev’s family was informed that his condition was very serious.
Knowing that her husband was dying, Leyla Musayeva drank acetic acid without her family’s knowledge to commit suicide.
Leyla Musayeva was immediately taken to the Oguz District Central Hospital (RMX) by the medical team that came to examine her husband.
Despite the efforts of doctors, Leyla Musayeva died in the intensive care unit of Oguz RMX on the afternoon of the day of the incident.
Leyla Musayeva’s husband Eyyub Musayev, who suffered from blood cancer, died on the same day.
The couple was buried today in the Bujak village cemetery.
