During his speech at the Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Musk predicted the development of artificial intelligence by the end of the decade. According to him, there is a 10-20% chance that AI and robots will no longer obey humans or that something will go wrong.
According to Musk, everything will probably be fine. The billionaire is still confident that AI can be controlled, although each year it will be 10 times better than its previous version.
The businessman pointed out that by the end of the decade the capabilities of artificial intelligence will be equal to those of 8 billion people on the planet.
“I think he’ll be able to do everything any human being can do, probably in a year or two,” Musk said.
According to Mask, in just three years, the intelligence and ability of artificial intelligence will surpass the intelligence and ability of all people living on the planet.
Musk also predicted that several artificial intelligences will be created in each region of the world. Furthermore, the number of robots in the future will be much greater than the number of people on the planet.
