These 7 cities join the list of the most beautiful in Spain

Spainwith 8,132 municipalities spread across 50 provinces and 17 autonomous communities, is home to cities that stand out for their beauty, history and unique environment. According to the National Institute of Statistics (INE)some of these municipalities not only conquer national rankings, but also obtain international recognition. This year, the Association of the most beautiful cities in Spain has expanded its prestigious network with new additions, highlighting its commitment to heritage conservation, sustainable tourism and cultural promotion.

During the XII National Assembly held on November 23 in historic town of Aínsathe seven new members of the list for 2025 have been announced: Letur (Albacete), Llerena (Badajoz), Jerez de los Caballeros (Badajoz), La Fresneda (Teruel), Linares de Mora (Teruel), Berlanga de Duero (Soria) and Poza de la Sal (Burgos). These additions bring the total number of recognized localities to 123. DANA-affected Letur was also included in support of its economic, social and cultural recovery. From January 1, 2025, these municipalities will be added to the list, presenting themselves as reference destinations for rural tourism in Spain.

Letur (Albacete)
