In the Pskov region, two children aged three and 16 died in a fire in a private house. A criminal case was opened, the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for the region reported.
An operational investigation team consisting of management and employees of the forensic department of the investigation department and investigators of the territorial investigation department is working at the scene of the incident.
“It has been established that minors born in 2008 and 2021 died in the fire. The children’s mother was hospitalized in a medical center in serious condition.” – the message said.
A criminal case was opened for the death of two minors in a fire for a crime provided for in part 3 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence of two people).
The causes of the fire are being established.
